When I was a child, around five or six, I used to see a faint light around my hands. I didn't tell anyone about it because I thought I was 'making it up'.
Now, older and wiser, and being able to see auras on a daily basis, I realise that what I was seeing as a kid was my own energy field around my hands.
The hand on the right is what I remember seeing as a kid. The colours were quite mixed up - browns, reds, oranges and yellows. While I do get to see those colours in my hands as an adult, I mostly get to see what is shown on the left - a nice solid band of yellowish white light.
